Welcome to "Dining In" Style
 
 
MEET THE CHEF
     

I started my cooking career at the age of ten when I began cooking for family and friends. Through the years as my confidence and cooking skills developed, I began to realize how much I really enjoyed preparing and cooking meals for people. I also recognized that as a kid and military dependent living and traveling in Europe for several years, I was developing more of an appreciation for fine foods and different cuisines. Over the years it became more and more evident that becoming a chef would be the ideal profession for me. So, after spending many years in the Banking and Accounting industry I finally decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Chef. In April 2005, I completed my professional training at the Culinary Business Academy in Rio Rancho, New Mexico and started “Dining In” Style Personal Chef Service.

     

I have been a Premier Member of the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA) since 2005, a certified Culinary Inspirations Instructor since 2007, and I am licensed and insured. In keeping with my commitment to higher industry standards, I am ServSafe certified and adhere to the USPCA’s Code of Ethics. As part of my on going continuing education, I attend the annual United States Personal Chef Association National Conference each year. It’s part of my commitment to keep enhancing my skills and services because I know I am not the only Personal Chef Service, but I certainly want to be among the best. I attribute my success to the commitment of meeting the needs of clients and exceeding their expectations.

You’ll find the true Chef in me enjoys the creativity and flexibility of cooking over the science of baking any day. I enjoy a wide variety of foods and cuisines which explains why I enjoy reading a variety of cookbooks and cooking magazines. When I am not in the kitchen, you may find me on the golf course from time to time, enjoying a glass of wine, learning about wine parings, listening to music, or unquestionably searching for true micro brewed beers wherever my travels take me.
