What is a Personal Chef?

While the rich and famous folks have private chefs, a personal chef is someone who caters to the many “not so famous” people. We provide a variety of affordable culinary services to people from all walks of life in the convenience, comfort, and privacy of their home. We do the planning, shopping, cooking, and cleanup! You enjoy the personal and customized service, the quality of freshly prepared food, and outstanding service every time.

What types of services do you offer?

“Dining In” Style offers a variety of culinary services. The Dinner Solutions service is designed for anyone that finds themselves faced with the daily challenge of “what’s for dinner?” Our In-Home Catering, Special Occasions and Events service is designed for those who enjoy entertaining, but don’t want all the hassles that go along with entertaining, special occasion planning, or events. We offer Cooking Classes for both Adults and Children, which offer basic cooking techniques or we have more fun filled classes that are designed to be entertaining. Additionally, we offer themed and special occasions services like Romantic Dinners for Two or Dinner and Massage packages. If you have a unique idea, event, or special occasion we haven’t mentioned just ask and “Dining In” Style will work with you to help make it possible.

Is the service affordable?

The Daily Dinner Solution service is based on the number of people we are cooking for, the frequency, types of foods, your dietary restrictions, and how personalized your service is. Typically, the cost is usually less than what you would be spending on eating out, convenience and fast foods, and even sometimes the cost of ingredients you’ve thrown out because you didn’t have time to cook. Considering how much your time is really worth, can you really not afford to take advantage of the timesavings and value of a healthy homemade dinner? Pricing on additional services offered is based on the menu, size and type of event, and services requested.

What types of clients use your service?

If your first thought is that this is unaffordable and a luxury, think again. Our clients are regular people, just like you and me. They are time starved working professionals, busy families, singles, and seniors. They are people who appreciate the value of time and need convenient healthy homemade dinners to complement their busy lifestyles. If you are one of the many people who are not eating the way you want or getting the nutrition you and your family deserve then “Dining In” Style can help you.

How does the service work?

Based on the information you provide to us, we create a customized menu specifically planned to appeal to your tastes, dietary needs, and your particular service or occasion. Once you have approved the menu, we purchase the freshest top quality ingredients, and arrive with all the required equipment for your service. At that time, your menu is freshly prepared at your location or kitchen, giving you the best possible product. Your kitchen is left clean and spotless.

Is there a menu I can choose from?

We do offer a few sample menus; however a new menu is created for each client and every service. This is truly a personalized service and no two clients or services are the same. We have to consider numerous things when creating a menu for you, for example, your tastes, likes and dislikes, dietary needs or restrictions, and always take in to account food allergies and religious restrictions. Give us a brief description of what you are planning and we’ll send you a sample menu of the many items we offer and prepare.  We specialize in accommodating your menu requests. 

How often do you service a client?

There is no specific frequency or duration of service because every client is different. Your service is always based on your needs and should complement your lifestyle.

Can you deliver the food?

Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to offer any type of delivery service. We are required by law to prepare and serve food only at the location in which the food will be consumed.

Do you cater?

As a Personal Chef Service we offer a number of services including in-home catering, luncheon services, dinner services, and small event catering. Our specialty remains in smaller events but we will accommodate some larger groups if kitchen facilities are available on location along with considerable advance notice.

Can you come cook tonight or tomorrow?

We’d love to say “Yes!”, but unfortunately our schedule does not allow for such short notice request. If you have a need for our service, please contact us at your earliest convenience to ensure we can accommodate your requests.

What if I have a small kitchen and limited utensils?

No worries, we have never met a kitchen we didn’t like and we come fully self-contained with everything we need. From the pots and pans to the soap and dishtowels, we bring absolutely everything we need in order to complete your service smoothly and efficiently.
